WHAT DOES GOD THINK OF GAY PRIDE PARADES? DOES GOD HATE GAYSLESBIANS?</

As Gay Pride Parades continue to multiply around the world, some might ask the following questions: "What does God think of such events? Is He accepting, "tolerant," uninterested?

The answer to this question is quite simple and unequivocal: God does not hate homosexuals, but He makes it quite clear in His Word, from the first book to the last that He hates homosexual acts. Thus He also hates Gay Pride parades.

From Genesis to Revelation, God's verdict is quite clear: any society that insists on allowing and supporting such acts will be severely punished -- or even destroyed.

Jude 1:7-8-- "...as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

2 Peter 2:6--And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

But what about "Pride Parades"? It is quite interesting -- and quite worrisome -- that one of the foundational traits of the Sodomites of ancient times was "Pride."

"Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned;" (Ezekiel 16: 49).

This was a fundamental problem in those sinful societies: "Pride and arrogance." In other words, they not only embraced sexual immorality, they were arrogant about it. This is one of the reasons why Lot, "...was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless" (2 Peter 2:7). They not only participated in sinful sexual behaviors, they did so openly and "arrogantly," as shown by their aggressive reaction toward the visiting angels and toward Lot who stood up for them.

But what about those who gladly support such events and even attend to lend support to them?

There is a stern warning directed at them in the book of Romans:

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men . . . For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature (lesbianism). Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burning in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful (homosexuality) . . .that those who practice these things are worthy of death, and not only those who do the same but also those who approve of those who practice them!"

(Romans 1:18, 26, 27, 32).

This is God's view of Homosexuality and any show of "pride" in such behaviors. This is God's view of people who by the million openly show their disdain for God's laws and openly support and celebrate such behaviors.

Is there any sign that the trend will be stopped or modified? None! In fact, biblically, the evidence points to the fact that homosexuality and support for it will actually increase dramatically and that it will become commonplace.

In the book of Revelation we read that the times that precede Christ's return will be characterized by much sin -- and that includes Homosexuality. We also read that such attitudes will be accompanied by great quantities of arrogance and that this will be one of the reasons why God will severely punish the world. In fact, Revelation tells us that in spite of God's great plagues which He will pour upon the Earth, humans, "Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication (Pornoeia: Sexual immorality), nor of their thefts." (Revelation 9:21).

Unfortunately this is the world we have to look forward to: a world saturated with sin and arrogance.

Fortunately there is a world coming "wherein dwells righteousness" where such behaviors will not even be mentioned.
